At Caledonian we are always dedicated to providing a complete high quality E-Learning service to our students. After years of experimentation and investment (and now more than ever), the time has come to focus our skills, our energies, and our experience on online teaching.

Until now, the ability to access online group lessons was reserved for certain subscriptions and rate plans. However, in light of the unfortunate circumstances created by COVID-19, all of our group courses and private lessons can be enjoyed from the comfort of your home, office or wherever you have an internet connection.

The introductory offer that includes a 40% discount for those who enrol in a course on-site for the year 2020-2021 will also be extended to online courses. We have zeroed the cost of enrollment and put all the courses on offer for only €29/month without restrictions and with unlimited attendance to guarantee all our students an excellent quality/price ratio. There are huge advantages of online courses. Here are some

There is no doubt, a traditional course can be very expensive both for the school that organizes it and for the student who needs it. Then, you have to add the other associated costs, books, coffee and snacks, transport, gasoline etc. when you add it all up at the end of the year it is not a small amount.

If you are looking to save, this is a perfect solution. Spend your money on the things you want.

Attending classes usually means showing up in class at a certain time, following a rather long lesson and then moving directly to the next lesson. Even if you have a little break between lessons, you still have to stay on campus. It can make days really long, very intense, really exhausting.

Then, after all, you have to go home, do your homework, sleep and do it all the next day. It can easily become a nuisance. With online lessons, you do all the work at your own pace. As long as you meet your deadlines and participate appropriately online, you will be fine. This means much less pressure and intensity.

Being successful in online lessons requires self-discipline. You don't have a teacher looking over your shoulder to tell you when a task is done. You can't copy from your classmate's notebook or ask him what the teacher said because you were distracted. You must actually log in and participate in discussions to get participation credit. Being lazy or unruly will quickly make you fall behind. By attending online lessons, you develop stronger self-discipline, which often results in other areas of your life such as fitness, work ethic and even relationships.

In a sense, the distance is greater between you and your teacher because you are not sitting in the classroom with them regularly. But in other ways, you have much easier and more personal access. When asking a question in a normal classroom, the professor must consider other questions that need to be answered, the time needed to answer the question, and if they even want to answer the question.

In an online lesson, you can chat or email questions directly to a teacher. When they reply, they can take as long as necessary to give you a complete answer. They also don't have to worry about getting to someone else's question before the end of the lesson. So in this way, you can actually get more attention from your teacher.

Normally, the choice of your school or teacher is significantly limited by your geographical position. If you live in a country or a distant place, it can be really difficult to find a good school, a good mother tongue teacher or the course that best suits your needs.

But with online lessons, your position doesn't matter. If you live in Milan or Palermo and want to take lessons in Barletta or Rome, you can do it! If you want to travel around the country and continue taking your course, you can do it.

All you need is a computer or tablet and an Internet connection. This freedom and independence is a huge, often overlooked advantage of online lessons.

There is absolutely no dress code with online lessons. If you want to study in pyjamas or a tracksuit, you can do it. If you want to lie on the sofa or bed while following a lesson, you can do it. If you want to listen to classical music in the background while chatting with your classmates on the forum, you can do it.

Concentrating in the classroom is not always easy. Sometimes you are tired. Sometimes the person next to you has been at the gym and skipped a shower. Sometimes there is work going on right outside the classroom. Sometimes your study group wants to talk about whatever instead of focusing. And sometimes your mind wanders alone. It has been repeatedly shown that studying in a noisy environment makes it much more difficult to concentrate.

With online lessons, it is much easier to focus on what you are doing. You can put yourself in the right environment. You can wear headphones if the surroundings are noisy. Your interactions take place online, which means you won't easily turn away from the topic. And you can choose to study at a time when you are cooler. If you struggle to concentrate, online lessons may be the ideal solution.

Many times, taking a course takes time from work. After all, it can be difficult to juggle the needs of school and work simultaneously. But if you are organized and self-disciplined, it is often possible to do both. Since you don't have to attend classes at a specific time, and you don't have to attend a school, you can fulfill the functions of your job and study during your free time.

You can also use weekends to perform additional activities for which you did not have time during the week. Yes, it is challenging. Yes, it's a lot of work. But if you want to continue working while taking a course, you can do it more easily with online lessons.

With traditional lessons, you have to adapt to the school program. If the lesson is at 4pm, you must be in the class at that time and you must attend the whole lesson. Failing to do these things will result in the loss of valuable information. Online lessons make it much easier to adapt things to your schedule. You can listen to lessons while you're on the train or while driving to your workplace. You can watch videos on the bus. You can respond to comments while sitting in the bar. You can even watch part of a recorded lesson, pause it, and then return to it at an appropriate time. If you already have a complete program, online lessons are the perfect solution.

If you've never been tech savvy, online lessons will force you out of your comfort zone (in the good sense). You will have to learn to navigate the lessons of the course, download material, interact with others online and communicate well digitally. Yes, this can be scary for some people! However, in the information age, these are essential skills and will allow you to keep up with others. A recent survey found that: The most important skills that employees lack are computer and technical skills. Of those who claim to need skills for their current job, many have technical deficiencies, including computer skills. Online lessons and courses will only benefit you.

Online lessons are not for everyone. Some people just want a traditional classroom experience. But online lessons offer some truly unique benefits. These benefits allow people who may or may not have the opportunity to take a traditional language course or attend school. But if you want to study comfortably from your bedroom or increase your computer skills, online lessons are a fantastic option.
