Discuss the following work trends in small groups. How important do you think they are?

  • Workplace well-being: how workers feel about their work, work environment and work organisation. The aim is to make sure workers feel safe, healthy and satisfied at work.

  • Retraining and upskilling: refreshing old skills and learning new ones.

  • Gig economy workers: people that work on short term contracts or as freelancers. Their employment rights are rarely the same as those of people that have permanent jobs.
